Series 90 Tone remote

Post by orbuckeye »

Does anybody have a manual for a series 90 tone remote? I've got an old one that I modified. I put in a switch so I can use standard tone sequence (+10/0/-20) or use with a different sequence (0/0/-20). My problem is I borrowed a manual and copied the adjustment instructions. The service shop that I borrowed the manual from threw it away and I've lost the instructions. I know you ground a test point and then push the PTT and it cycles you thru different tones but I don't remember exactly what the sequence is.

Here is a summary of the procedure -

Ground screw terminal 6 on the bottom of the desk set then press MONITOR switch - high level guard tone will appear.

Momentarily press PTT - monitor tone will appear - press PTT again and tone will disappear.

Press the F2 switch - high level guard tone will appear. then:
momentarily press PTT and F2 function tone will appear
momentarily press PTT again and low level guard tone will appear
momentarily press PTT TWICE and F1 function tone will appear

Momentarily press PTT twice and tone will disappear

The procedure goes on with tests for wild card tones

Remove ground from terminal 6 to leave test mode
