R100 stuck in TX

Post by tvsjr »

OK, this problem is about to drive me up a wall.

I have an R100 repeater that I'm attempting to tune. It's all tuned up... nice deviation, very sensitive, good power out. Unfortunately, the infernal thing simply won't unkey. Plug AC in and it keys up and stays that way. It repeats audio when present, otherwise it's just a dead carrier save the PL (210.7... hummmmmmmmmmm).

Any thoughts besides tossing the thing in the nearest dumpster?

Check the drop-out delay capacitor for leakage, a common problem.
