10 meter repeater

I'm looking for some information on the best radios to make a 10 meter split site repeater out of. I can't find much info on how to convert radios down to 29.6mhz. I found a little info on Maratrak and syntor 9000 but its hard to find radios with the 29.7-36 mhz boards in them. Found a couple of Maratrak's that are 36-42 mhz but not sure how hard they would be to get to 10m. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks

Hi, A friend of mine in Tenn has some 29 meg [10 meter] Maratracs.
