HT1250LS+ Deleting Trunking

Post by ems133 »

I have an 403-470 UHF HT1250LS+ that I recently purchased on Ebay. The codeplug includes one Trunking Personality and I can not get rid of it. I need only conventional channels but I can only program 18 conventional channels. How can I get rid of the trunking on this radio? I don't have any other UHF codeplugs just several VHF.

You will always have to have ONE trunking personality in the radio. You cannot delete all of them, but that said just because it's there doesn't mean you have to have it assigned to a zone/accessible to a user of the radio.

Also, the HT1250LS+, unless the model number ends in "6AN", your is probably '5AN' it caps out at 18 conventional channels. "6AN" HT1250LS+ radios are usually 34 conventional channel.
