XTL5000 error

I have 2 new XTL5000 and XTL2500 radios that I keep getting an Open Radio failed message with error 24 and status c0000343. I am running CPS version 11. Any info on error codes will be appreciated. Tanx.

Could you be a little more detailed on this problem your having. Is this problem showing up when your trying to program the radio?

What are you using for a programming setup? Cable connected to the mic jack or serial cable to the accessory connector?

By any chance have you tried to reboot the computer your using to program the radios and then connect it to the radio mic jack?

Do you hear the dual tone from windows when you make the programming connection to the radio?

Not all the USB jacks on a computer are wired the same. You might want to try a different USB connection on your laptop computer. Normally there are 2 of
them either beside each other or on top of each other. Try the one next to the one you were trying to use.

Just a little more detail here might get you some more suggestions on what to try.

Programming cable/Port settings/USB converter/PC & etc. issue. Try different ones and problem should disappear.
