Adding phone patch to existing external tone controler

Post by Carl »

Hi,
I have a RKR1225 with a CSI32 tone panel with multiple pl on it. I want some customer to be able to make outgoing call. I just found an old i50 Motorola phone patch, can it be used to do what i need since i already have another controler already ? Basicly its only for outgoing.. i guess incoming will be impossible because the phone patch dont know who is calling. If its not possible, wich controler is available on the market (not too expensive) to do both incoming and outgoing call, with multi-pl feature ? like a all in one..

I'd take a look at Zetron's offerings for this kind of thing. In looking at their website, Zetron offers the Model 48jr and Model 48-MAX "Interconnected Repeater Panel" that apparently allows support for multiple subscribers plus a phone patch.

I've never worked with these products so I don't really know anything about them or how well they work, but in working with Zetron dispatch consoles, the stuff is pretty robust, so I would think their other products would be as well.
