Front Shield part numbers

Post by N7QQU-Ken »

Is there a list of front shield part numbers and descriptions? I have a few shields and want to save some for future repairs and want to know what I have. Thanks for the help:)

Ken,

Shield part numbers are shown and listed in the various Saber service manuals. Most or all of the shields you now have should have the various NTN numbers shown on them for the metal shield itself. I was looking thorugh a bunch of them yesterday and found that they all also had their manufacturing dates shown. The basic manual you probably need is 68P81043C90-0 which has the exploded parts views and parts lists. The front shields are actually listed as several parts, in the referenced book they're list numbers 47, 48, and 49 which cover the metal shield, the speaker, and the display if there is one.
