HT1250 on 6 Meters

Post by rmiles »

I searched the site but could not find any info on this. Does anyone have any information on whether the HT12550 is capable of being programmed for use on the 6 Meter Ham band? I have a couple of these, which I converted to model III's and installed the voice storage board in. There are a few 6M rpts in this area for use. I currently use a Kenwood TK-190 that I've hex edit for these sites, but I would like to use the HT1250 in conjunction with a vehicular adapter.
