HT1250 Squelch not opening after alert

HT1250 Squelch not opening after alert

Can someone tell me what setting I have incorrect. I have my HT1250 programmed with correct tones on a certain channel so I can use it like a pager. The radio is alerting, but is not opening the squelch so you can hear the dispatch information. Any suggestions?

Under the quick call II system, Call alert/Sel Cal. Make sure your alert option is set to "Call Alert w/Voice"
