ASTRO spectra dual head question

Post by asmitty0010 »

Looking to add a second control head to one of my astros. I've found the option in the CPS but i'm a bit confused w/ the speaker part of it. It says something along the lines of. Selecting F/R button on the control head will let you command either front or rear head. One will say the channel and zone you're on, the other will display "remote". Both speakers will still work. - does this mean even the speaker near the control head that says remote will still have audio? Is there a way so that only one speaker will work at a time?

Thanks

Generally when you install a dual head Astro Spectra, you will install a relay pod that is controlled from the VIP pins on the back each head. The speaker at each head will plug into this relay pack, and the pack will connect to the speaker output from the control head cable. This will mute the speaker on the unselected head.
