Hi Folks,
Got a question about the usage of the switch. Currently, the
portable has 4 trunking zones, and 5 conventionals.
The concentric switch will select either A, B, or C zone (as programmed
by the county). Alpha characters indicate a trunking zone, whereas a
numeric indicates a conventional zone.
I'd like to have Trunk A on the A switch, and Conventional 1 on the B
switch, but don't see any way to make that happen. I don't even see
how it is selecting zone A, B, or C!
I've got a feeling there is no way to do this, but figured I'd ask the
experts.
Thanks!
Tim

The ABC switch always selects zones 1,2,3 in that order. To do what you want you have to rearrange the zones into the position you want in the zone/mode branch.

Hi Resqguy,
I kinda figured that's whats happening... the 1st three zones the county guys put in are
named A, B, & C, so that's what it'll select.
Since we really only care about the A zone, I'll make the conventional zones B & C.
Thanks for the confirmation - I'll fire up the CPS tomorrow.
