Another EEPRM CS Error...

Post by dagwag77 »

Hi Everyone -

I'm getting EEPRM CS ERROR on a ht1250 model AAH25SDF9AA5AN. Loading original codeplug isn't working, I'm getting an error-4 unable to read radio error with CPS R06.09.06. Anyone have any ideas? Will a "different original" codeplug maybe work?

Thanks,
Dave
My radios:

There is SO much info on this board about the outstanding Pro series and the ever popular EEPROM errors, CS and HW. Search the board, there are talks about a few different recovery methods, including the current rev Pro CPS which now has a codeplug recovery feature built in just for this problem.. Search around the board..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
