MSF5000 power suddenly dropped

Post by weav »

I just converted an MSF5000 from a base to a repeater. The power output used to be on the order of 70W, and now it's doing 24. Is this a repeater-mode-enabled thing or might I have trashed the PA accidentally?

The cabling from the PA thru the LPF looks good. I'm measuring it with an R2600 service monitor.

It should have been reasonably close to one another. For kicks measure your output before the LPF filter right out of the amp and then at the output of the lpf. This may sound like a dumb question but you did take the antenna relay out of line correct?
