PM1500 Programing Cables

PM1500 Programing Cables

Buying our first set of PM1500 dual head radios. Ordered the RVN4186AG CPS. Now I need programing cables. According to MOL, I can order HKN6183A Cable CH Programming RS-232 GCAI or HKN6184 Mobile Front Programming Cable USB. What does everyone suggest/prefer ?

I have always used the USB type 6184 cable. It is the same cable for the XTL and APX radios. Just don't get too impatient when first trying to get it
connected. Ihave to switch often between serial and USB operation, depending on what I am programming and frequently forget to set the program back
to USB to use this cable.
