HT750 UHF Programming

Hi, I'm new here, so here goes. I'm with a back country ski patrol and a ham. We have Motorola HT750 VHF radios and software to program, which I have done sucessfully on a old and slow laptop that I dedicate to this. I picked up a couple HT750 UHF rigs and they are 4 channel with no display. One will allow me to turn the channel knob to channels one and two and on three and four it just beeps. The other does it on any channel other than one. I've been through the "help" areas in the software and I can find nothing to fix this. They seem to take the programming okay, but won't work on the upper channels. Anyone with any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Mike

Are you sure that you assigned the personalities to the "zone"? Even on a 4ch radio you need to go to "Personality Assignment to Zone" and make sure all of the personalities are added.
