Help with spectra id and cable
Just picked up a pair of spectras and need help with id'ing and which programming cable to use. The ID # is D43KMA7JA5BK. The unit has a 15 pin connector on the back as well as power. Also which version RSS should I use? Thanks, artman

Re: Help with spectra id and cable
You can go to batlabs.com and find the info on how to make a programming cable to go between the radio and your
RIB. These radios should be able to use the normal DOS version of Spectra. You do not want to use the trunking version.

Re: Help with spectra id and cable
Thank you for the replies gentlemen. I'm going to build my own cable and have a couple more questions. Do I need to power the radio through the 15 pin connector as in the diagram or use the two pin power connector? Also do I need to use a speaker on the programming cable as in the diagram and if so what is speaker high and low? Thank you for your help, artman

Yes you will need to provide power on the IGN pin 5 on the 15 pin accessory connector and the two pin power connector.
