HT1250 firmware "FL0 Download failed / FL0 Sync Failed"

Post by dispatcher7586 »

Hey,

I have successfully upgraded my ht1250 firmware in the pst. Today when trying to upgrade my firmware (from R5.09.06 to R5.14.00) with all OEM cables/adapter, the computer screen read "FL0 download failed" the second time it would read "FL0 Sync Failed." The radio is in bootstrap mode though. I even tried shuting down the computer and restarting which did no work. I have not tried a reinstall yet.

Has anybody ever ran into this problem, or do you have a solution?

Yes, I solved. Try many many many times. If doesn't help, try other PC or other serial controller (PCI card instead of onboard). Problem will go away.
I am biggest fan of XTS2500 and ASTRO Digital Saber.
