Hello All,
I have a UHF A7 MT2000, and I have a question about programming the scan lists using the controls on the portable. Suppose you have more than 16 channels in a zone, and you wish to add channels above 16 to the scan list, while using the portable to program the list... How do you do it? To select channels for scan, you use the rotary selector, but you obviously can't turn it past 16.
There is an option in the RSS that applies if you don't have the rotary selector programmed for either zone or channel, that allows you to specify the purpose of the rotary selector during scan programming... but is there a way to use the rotary selector for channels in normal mode, and somehow access channels above 16 for scan programming?
Thanks,
MT2000 Scan Lists

Re: MT2000 Scan Lists
Are you saying you want to program a scan list of different Channels in different zones or something? I'm not getting what you wanna do.

Re: MT2000 Scan Lists
Nah, he wants to program channels past 16 in his zones while leaving the channel selector knob set to "channel select" and be able to access those channels while programming a scan list. The only way I know to do it is to add the "CHAN" option to your menu, then select the past-16 channels one at a time while entering scan program, adding them to the list, then exiting to select the next channel.
