Hi there,
im new to the whole HT / CDM scene, been stuck in the stone ages with maxtracs and spectras and mt2000s lol.
anyways im programming up a UHF ht1250 and i notice that you can only have 16 personalities per zone? is this correct? I dont understand why there would be a limit to that. or am I just misunderstanding the use of a zone. on my spectra I have it maxed out with 128 channels. 100 of them are in one zone and 20 of them are in another with the other 8 in a 3rd. Id like to setup the HT like that. I think 16 max kind of limits things.

You are correct. The limit is because the channel knob on the top is limited to 16 channels, and you can't assign it to anything else, so if you had a 17th channel in the zone there would be no way to get to it. However, you can have up to 8 full zones for 128 channels.

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

can you be more specific, is it a real ht1250 or is it an ls or ls+? the ls radios have a full rotation selector but those are limited to 16 or 18 channels
