I am having problems setting up a working conventional MDC1200 profile on a UHF MT2000 48 channel (H01SDD9AA4AN). I have the personaliy setup and the signal is audible on other radios but they cannot decode the ID,
Primary ID 1234
Secondary ID 0000001(will not accept letters)
Variable ID 111( will not accept letters)
Leading PTT enabled
Trailing disabled
Radio Check disabled
Sys pre-time 500
Preamble diabled
Interpacket 250ms
Limited Patient 20
DOS Enabled
Coast 48.95ms
Sel Call Reset Manual
Emergency off
TX on Busy and Modulator enabled on channel
Ive tried reading this on an HT1250/CDM1250 and our Zetron Console
Any Ideas

Tried a different rss version and copied same settings as HT1000 and the problem still occurring.

Flashcode?

I stand with Jeff on this one.escomm wrote:Flashcode?
The MT2000 may not have been flashed to accept/decode an ID string, nor even display an alias either.
If it's not in the flash, it's NOT able to be used.
The RSS/CPS still shows all options, trouble arises when those options are accessed and can't be made functional....again, due to improper flashcodes.

Re: MT2000 MDC1200
The radio went back to the factory 18mos ago. after going for a swim at a structure fire. I will dig up the paper work.
When it was sent down I listed the mdc, frequencies and other settings from our standard programming data sheet.
The original code plug was also sent on a CD with the radio.
I'll do a bit more CSI work
Thanks

Re: MT2000 MDC1200
You may want to check the MDC deviation using the service portion of the RSS... It should be around 3.3 – 3.7kHz, if you have a service monitor/deviation monitor available. If it's too high or too low, that could be your problem...
