All,
Anyone have a list of which radios can be password protected so that the average (non batlabs) person can't easily read the radio? Most of our radios are pro series radios but there does not seem to be a consistant way to know which radios are able to be password protected. I can have two of the same type of radios, both HT1250 for instance, where one has the option and the other is greyed out. Is this a firmware dependant issue?
Thanks in advance...

Can you confirm that with the correct firmware, they all should,at least in theory be cps password protectable? does this include non keypad radios?
Thanks

- What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

ya, all 1250's with current firmware should be able to be password protected for the cps. you can even password protect them on power up too but it don't do much good if you dont' have a full keypad radio
