CDM Volume/Power Knob issue

Post by cduda »

Hello.

I have a CDM series radio that when you turn the knob, it seems to be stripped out as you have to turn a far ways before any audio changes. I pulled the rubber knob off and it seems ok, the white casing around the post has a little play in it.

Is there a way to correct this other than replacing the radio?

Thanks

To quote an old Monty Python sketch.. "I think I'm experiencing deja vu!", where's a milkman when you need one?

The volume control can be replaced.

Is this difficult to do and how easy is it to obtain a new volume control?

Thanks
