Post by W1HVN »

Does anyone know of a source for reference oscillators for the 800MHz MSF5000s? Anyone know of someone who can manufacture and sell?

Thanks

Are you referring to the external 5MHz reference standard, or an internal type special frequency reference?

If you're referring to the external type master oscillator, any 5MHz or 10MHz standard can be used, and it's jumper selectable on the reference tray in the bottom of the station.

SpectraCom manufactures a GPS-slaved master oscillator that is perfect for the task. http://www.spectracomcorp.com/Products/ ... fault.aspx
