MSF5000 Audio error codes

Ok, so I have a station on air that has an issue. All the audio coming out of the station sounds off frequency. The transmitter is on freq though. It's not the receiver itself cause even the CWID of the zetron attached to the station sounds bad coming out of the station. I am getting audio error codes when the station resets, a bunch of A21, A25, A26, etc and occasionally it the receiver stays open and the carrier light shows up on the zetron. The manual shows for those errors to replace the TTRC and/or the SSCB board. Now, how difficult is it to swap the boards out? Relignment? anyone know?

Part of me wants to scrap the repeater off the site and put a replacement MSF up there. Anyone would consider trading me a fully working CXB station 110w for a XTS5000 VHF model III with FPP enabled?

Have you tried switching to in cabinet repeat via the codeplug (using the MSF control), bypassing the zetron?
