So I am having issues with programming my W4 Astro Spectra. I was able to pull the code plug of the radio but when I plugged the programming cable to put the updated codeplug in I get "FL 01/90". If I plug the accessory plug from the car the radio works fine. I need some ideas.

Sounds like a dashmount W4? Are you powering the red wire on the programming cable?

It is actually a motorcycle mount. And yes I am powering up the red wire on the programming cable.

Does anybody have the DB9 pinout for the connector coming of the head and also the pinout for the DB15 accessory connector off the transceiver?
