GTX900 mobile on Ham bands

I've really picked up the 900mhz bug so I've picked up quite a few radios around to get programmed up on ham frequencies.
Borrowed a programming PC and I'm afraid I might've just bricked one of the radios. Using Version R02.00.01 RSS with the mdf file edited for ham bands. Programming 6 of these things with the same frequencies is a major pain in the ass, so I wanted to see if I could clone one to a few more. Selected Get/Save Menu, Clone (Copy) Codeplug and told it to continue. It read the codeplug (which was already good programmed radio) from the radio, then immediately wrote the codeplug back to the same radio without prompting me to swap them out.
Now that radio has open squelch on all the programmed channels in the radio. I've attempted to read and re-write them however nothing seems to fix the issue. Did I just brick one of my club members radios or screw up the codeplug somehow? We have several of the same model radios available which are all in good working order.
Help??
