Cannot open RSS in DOS

Cannot open RSS in DOS

I'm trying to open my XTS3500 RSS in dos and cant. It opens in dos box but not in straight dos. Running a Compaq 300MHZ laptop. Ht1000 rss works fine any help would be appreciated

Can you turn off cpu cache?

I will try, I tried to make a boot disk for the rss but the file is to big

I go to MS DOS From shut down then put the file in C:\MRSS\XTS_3500 and a bad command comes up

Try doing a "CD\MRSS\XTS_3500" at the DOS prompt to change the directory where the RSS is (leave out the "" marks).
Then find the .EXE file for the program and try that one to get started.

That got me to C:\xts_3500 now I need to find the start up

Type "DIR" to see a list of files in the directory. There should be a batch file to start the program. Not sure what it's called for the XTS3500. I know for the XTS3000 it's called "astrop.bat". Whatever it is type it in & the program should fire up.
