XLT2500 / XTS2500 & DTMF Tones ??

Post by Gerald805 »

We have XTS2500 portables and XTL2500 car radios and would like to enable the output of DTMF tones to enable our emergency sirens.

One of the 40/20 strings is "8 7 3 # # # # 1 D 3". Is this possible?

Any help is appreciated.

You can enable DTMF (try searching CPS Help for "hot keypad," I don't know where it is on Astro25), but that letter D will be a problem for you. There is no way to dial letters on Moto DTMF pads, you can't even prestore them in call lists...
The bandsplit is only a suggestion.
