XTS5000 Programming Out of Range

Hi, I have an XTS5000 Q split and trying to program out of range UP 470-485 freq. I read the AKARDAM "HOWTO" and also searched this board for countless days/weeks had couldn't find answers. I also tried PM with a few which seem knowledgeable haven't had luck. Was told that if I tried and made a mistake, I can brick the radio. If you know how or can direct me to a previous post, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey-

I just did this yesterday with version 14 of the cps. I brought my 450-512 down to 440. I followed http://www.akardam.net/moto/docs/cps-oob.html and it worked.

Yeah, i know that it works great for bringing it down, but doesn't work for bringing the range up past 470 for a Q split radio. Any suggestions anyone?
