Good Afternoon everyone,
I have somewhat of a minor issue with my Motorola HT1000 VHF Unit. I am trying to enable DTMF ANI, so on keyup of PTT it sends a DTMF Unit ID over the air. However, even though I set the proper settings, I cannot get it to work.
I go to: Radio Config > Signalling > DTMF Phone List > DTMF Config
In the DTMF ANI Type: I set it to Keyup.
In the DTMF ANI Code: I have a 5 digit code set.
Furthermore, I have PTT-ID set to enabled in the Channel Configuration Screen.
When programmed, the radio refuses to transmit the code. It transmits, but it doesn't transmit the code.
Is there any other settings I am missing here? I made sure MDC PTT ID is set to: None.
I'm at a loss right now. Its a model CN Radio. I tried this with both software 03.03.00 and 03.02.01.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Motorola HT1000 DTMF ANI
Under Radio Config > Signalling > DTMF Phone List, check the pre-time, digit duration, and inter-digit delay. It may be set so low that the 5 DTMF tones are transmitting so fast that your receiving radio can't open its squelch fast enough. This can be caused be using a PL or DPL, and having the receiving radio decode it.Driv3r912 wrote:Good Afternoon everyone,
