Our agency purchased MOTOTRO repeaters, mobiles, and portables for evaluation. (Along with ICOMS and others) Could be as many as 600-1000 units if we choose them in the end. Someone dropped the ball when it came to the programming software. It was on the purchase order, but never ordered, plus I don't think the rep we purchased from knows if there is a difference, since he gave only one price for the software. Is there a different software package for each product line? If so can some one provide the current RVN numbers for each.
Thanks

Re: MOTOTRBO Software
Thanks for the reply, another source has stated that the repeater needed a different software.

I'm not 100% certain on the MTR3000, but I know for sure the XPR series repeaters it works.

Re: MOTOTRBO Software
The MTR 3000 product planner says RVN 5115 is the correct CPS. Also says that the CPS is INCLUDED in the purchase price of a new MTR3K so you should really check that out (don't think I've ever seen that before from /\/\..). If you upgrade the MTR 2000 to the 3000, you can't use the old RSS, got to use the new.The Pager Geek wrote:I'm not 100% certain on the MTR3000, but I know for sure the XPR series repeaters it works.

Re: MOTOTRBO Software
Yes, the RVN5115 works on the repeater and portables, we havn't received the mobiles yet. We ordered MOTOTRBO repeaters, I wonder if I should have ordered MTR3000's instead. I also don't understand why the back orders on these products are so long. 2-3 months.
