Astro Saber DSP and Host Firmware

Post by N7QQU-Ken »

Hello All-

I have two Astro Sabers. One VHF AS III and one UHF AS II.

Is it possable to copy the DSP and firware from one radio to another. The idea is to upgrade one of the radios to the latest versions.

I have looked through the archives and not found many details.

Thanks for the help:)

You have to do a firmware upgrade which is accomplished with an OEM programming cable, Smartrib, current cps and a firmware upgrade kit.
