JT1000 [signalling questions]

Any Jt1000 owners install an aftermarket MDC board? I'm interested in this radio, but can't use it at work without MDC1200. Any suggestions on aftermarket boards/ installation/ board price is appreciated. Thanks

Jt1000- DTMF question

Can the Jt1000 send DTMF (pre-defined in rss) ANI automatically upon key-down? Or from front keypad only? Thanks.

I think mdc can be programmed in the radio via software.

JT1000 does NOT support MDC signaling like other Jedi radios natively do and only newer ones support QCII decoding.

Thanks, I was aware the Jt didn't support MDC, but since it suppors DTMF from the front panel, I was curious to know if a pre defined DTMF string could be sent (slaved to ptt) when keyed. J.

it does support DTMF ANI. You have to go to DTMF options in RSS to enable/configure it.
