Latest and Greatest VHF Portable

Can anyone tell me (i'm sure there are many opinions) what is a newer Conventional VHF radio that has a "Public Safety Mic" available, and is well suited for Law Enforcement.

Would it be a PR model, HT, XTS?

The problem is that motorola VHF radios aren't recommended for use with Public safety mics with the antenna on the top. Not to say it hasnt been done.

Out of the models you listed the pr1500 is in my opinion, the best/most reliable. The vhf ht series are plagued with receive sensitivity issues by design.
