Spectra Question

Is there a diode (fuse) in a 110 watt Spectra.
If so where would look ?

Yes there is a reverse polarity diode for the main power on the RX power amplifier board. A small fuse on the command board.

What kind of problem(s) are you having?

Thanks for the reply.
Not sure what's wrong yet.
All i did was replace the main power cable ,plugged it in and now the radio won't power.
I did make sure the polarity was correct and both wires from the head had 12 v

Depending on the head and how the internal jumpers are set, you probably have to supply
+12 volts to the ignition wire on the accessory connector.

The radio has been working for a few years,i use it every day.
The only thing i did was put a new main power cable on it.
I have the 2 wires from the head already wired to 12v.

Why did you have to replace the power cable?

Did you ground the black lead at the radio?

You did check for 12 volts at the power connector and at the control head.
