XTS5000 Zone/Channel names

is there a way to get around the limit of only 12 characters split between channal and zone names in the xts5000? Right now, I have it set up to zone names = 3 characters and channel names = 9 characters. Its would be great if I could have 12 characters each instead. Am I SOL?

That's the way it works, no workarounds. The XTS 5000 only supports a single line Zone/Channel display.

You could assign a letter(A,B,C,etc) plus a space for the zone names and gain one character
for the channel name(10 characters)

or

If you do not have many zones and can remember the first channel name in each zone
you could have no characters assigned for the zone name and use all 12 characters for
the channel name.

Just a couple of suggestions...
