The Image on the 5k Manual

So I needed to pull the XTS5000 manual off MOL. I opened the file and noticed the image on the bottom of the first page.
Zoomed in, check out the radios the officers are holding:

What do you think? An intentional nod to the radios of years past, or a random /\/\ stock photo? My bet is for the former.

Stock photo of days gone by no doubt, probably just something they pulled out of thin air.

Ever notice that the XTS3000 / Astro Saber software image shows a systems saber?
