CDM1250 COS Output

Post by unioner101 »

Does anyone know the carrier output of a motorola cdm1250. I am designing a small station alert system which includes a tape activated by carrier. I am using a pin out on a CDM1250. However, I cannot find the output rating anywhere and when i put together the voice operated relay switch I want to use the proper resistors.

Thanks,

Kevin

I wouldn't assume more than 250ma. It's state (high or low) is programmable, if I recall correctly, and easily drives another logical device like an NXU or an IP223, but doubtful it would pull a relay too many times. I'd include a transistor or an optoisolator stage.
