MPL programming on MTS2000

Post by wb4gbi »

Greetings all,

I have a 900 MHz MTS2000 that I am trying to program the MPL's for. I am using Windows CPS 2.03.00. I have created the MPL list, porgrammed a button on the side of the radio for MPL, and checked the "user selectable PL" on each conventional personality. The radio is a HO1WCH4PW1CN, codeplug 000A, flash000002-00000-8. Firmware is 5.65. I have done this on other MTS2000 model III radios. Any idea why the MPL button I have programmed won't do anything?

Your firmware needs to be above R06.xx for MPL to work..

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.
