AS III error question

Post by jban »

friend of mine reported that his Astro Saber III is displaying an error message "error 9/10". Any info out there? He stated it was working fine, set it down and came back to the error. He did the on/off and remove the battery thing but no resolve. Any help appreciated. This is a VHF model as well.

A fail 09/10 is usually a secure hardware error.. Is the radio secure equipped and or programmed for secure?

Stupidity creates job security!

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

I programmed it a couple years ago and yes it was secure equipped. I did not enable the secure features that I recall. I have not had the opportunity to put hands on the radio as of yet.
