MTS2000 Codeplug Too New

Post by freqscout »

I have an MTS2000 that I bought off of Ebay. It says it's codeplug is too new for my version of RSS. Is there a way to revert the radio to the older RSS version using RSS or Lab?

If the firmware is newer than 5.41, then you don't want to use lab on the radio. The MTS line has been using CPS for quite a few years now, & if that's what this radio has been programmed with, that's what it need again. GARY N4KVE

If you have a matching codeplug (same model and flash) that your RSS, or CPS can read then you should able to clone into it.
