Xts2500 programming cable similiar to HT1000 cable?

Post by MayanWarrior »

Ok, I know one is a Astro, other a Jedi, however the cables look the same. Can a HT1000 RIbless cable be used on a Xts2500/5000? Or vice versa?
I have both cables, but am curious as they are similiar and allot of the HT products work with the Xts. Probably dumb question but was wondering if the guts are different on the two?

Thank you for any replies,
Bill

They are not the same. The XTS3000/3500 was essentially a Jedi series digital radio, and that's the only 'XTS' the Jedi cable will work on. All the other 'XTS' radios are a completely different platform, and require the other cable.

What is the difference in the Jedi and XTS5000 programming cables?
Different signals and pins at the 25 pin connector like the Saber vs the Astro Saber.
