Does the XTS5000 model 2 with this below decode MDC on the ID? I know it says Digital ID display but doesnt say MDC. 2people else where said "sure" and nothing more.

Yes, it will decode MDC ID's with Q806 in the flashcode.

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..
CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

Ah, your right. I must have missed that too. Plus I forgot the first digit being a 5 will decode ID's. I too had a long night and I got on to ask after pondering it for hours working lol. Many thanks to your replies and time.
