Astro Spec MDC ID *DO NOT* want displayed

I've tried it all. What features do I need to disable in CPS to mute the burst AND keep the radio ID from being displayed?

To turn off ID Display

Radio Config->Display and Menu->PTT ID
Make sure all ID Display options are unchecked

By burst I am assuming your are talking about the MDC1200 squawk heard by a receiving radio. You need to enable DOS (data operated squelch). It is under Conventional->MDC->MDC System->MDC System 1,2 etc

Read the help file for DOS.
