GR500 LOCAL & DX

HI 2 ALL.I HAVE A VHF GR500 THAT I WANT TO PROGRAM THE RX GM160 WITH 2 DIFFERENTS PL BUT SAME FREQUENCY. PL N°1 TO ACTIVATE THE LOCAL VHF REPEATER AND PL N°2 TO ACTIVATE A UHF GM160 FOR A UHF LINK.
I TRIED WITH THE SCAN FUNCTION TO SCAN BETWEEN 2 CHANNELS, IT SEEMS WORK FINE BUT PREFER DIFFERENT WAY IF EXIST. ANY HELP PSE ???

Those radios are not capable of multiple PL tones on a single channel, so your scanning set-up is really the only way to do what you are asking.
