APX Firmware Upgrade

I am getting conflicting info on this.... I have a brand new APX7000 that I would like to upgrade to the latest firmware that came out today.

I can't seem to find where in CPS i can do the upgrade. Some say I need ibutton/key and others say you don't need anything else but CPS.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance!

No ibutton is needed (at least with prior APX releases) to refresh the firmware. There is a upgrade radio menu item in the read/write window.

If you already have 5.05.00 in it there is no need to up it anyway. There is nothing gained by putting in the new firmware.

Unfortunately, there is not an "upgrade radio" field anywhere in the CPS. Any additional help would be appreciated.

Top Menu - DEVICE->Radio Software Refresh (which should be across the top on the right).

What does your radio currently have?
