Hi all,

Ive just programmed my astro spectra for the Siren PA function and when i turn on the radio i get an error code like ?/08 and the pa functions are not working on the DEK.

Any way this is what i have:

Analog Spectra systems 9000 PA/Siren Amp
cable that came with the AMP
Astro spectra remote mount mid power
W9 Head
Astro spectra CPS R05.02.00

Do i have to change the Jumper / VIP functions around via CPS or what?

thanks,
Alex

Part #s of the siren and siren cable would be helpful. Is it error 8/10 that your getting. If it is the radio isn't seeing the siren amp. Was it know to be working. I have had many 1185B sirens on Astros and never had a problem.

The error code im getting is error 09/10 witch is the secure module.
I went out to my truck and turned on the radio and all the lights come all except for the DEK?

After the self check, i try to press one of the function on the dek like air horn or PA and nothing heppends; no tones no lights nothing...?

Maybe a connection issue?

The cable does not have a number on it as far as i can tell. as for the PA amp, its taped to the radio with some heavy duty double sided tape... and i can not see a number else where. But the trim is blue, NOT red like most of the other analog spectra amp's

Did you activate the dek in the CPS and program the DEK buttons?
