HT1250 microphonic

Post by arlojanis »

I have a VHF HT1250 that is microphonic at loud volume on internal speaker on narrow band channels. What will correct the problem?

Does it do it with a speaker mic? You might have a bad speaker, or open up the radio and check all the cans on the main circuit board make sure they are not loose.

It does not do it with an external mic. A new speaker did not help. I also looked at the shields.

No, I did not swap batteries. Audio was OK on wide band channels. I did charge the battery.
