spectra railroad to david clark hookup

spectra railroad to david clark hookup

hello, trying to hook up a david clark adapter c3019 to a railroad spectra, can i use the 12 pin bayonet plug..will this work ?and what wires go where...thanks in advance...

The normal headset connection is to the 6 pin AAR MIC connector.

Clark makes a standard adapter for this application:

If you want to try to modify your adapter for the 12 pin Auxillary connector, the pinout is:
A- Mic Audio
B- Mic Gnd
C- PTT
D- Handset/PTT Return
E- Handset Audio
J- Hang-up return
K- Hang-up
M & N FLOATING Speaker Hi/Lo

The headset plug:
Tip 1 Mic ground
2 Audio +
3 Mic +
4 Audio ground
