Hi I have a GM300 uhf 8 channel (modified for 16 channel) on wich I just can't program the 16 pin connector..
First I read the radio (got to modify my gm300 mdf file...)
then I go to main menu the F4 to modify the codeplug.
from there I can change the mode (F5) from there I see the freq and all the stuff..
And I can go to F2 for radio wide configuration.
If I am not crazy, on that section I should see the option to program the 16 pin acc pins. but I just see the info on the radio and 3 option (on the right)
I got that radio already moded for 16 chan and no original codeplug.
Am I crazy if I say that the codeplug is corrupt and I wont be able to fix that?
I really need to program those pîn cause I got this radio to replace a maxtrac 300 in a desktrac repeater, and the acc connector is very important while using it in repeater mode.
thanks for your help

Re: can't program acc plug on GM300
The lower tier GM300 radios do not have programmable accy jacks.
Re: can't program acc plug on GM300
I dont get it. What do you mean by lower tier?
Re: can't program acc plug on GM300
ok found out that the 8 channel are what they call lower tier, and they have fix pin out on the accy plug..
Re: can't program acc plug on GM300
If you make it the TX radio in the repeater, you shouldn't need to program the pins at all. Pin 3 is the external PTT by default, and pin 2 is tx audio input by default as well.
